We’re pleased to announce that we have completed the redesign of Nike’s space within London’s Dover Street Market.

The iconic fashion destination, founded by Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe of Japanese label Comme des Garçons in 2004, has been home to Nike’s NikeLab imprint since 2014. This is the first time the space has been subject to such an extensive renovation, with all core fixtures and fittings reconsidered.

Our design aims to reconcile the practicality desired from a working store with Dover Street Market’s high-fashion ideals. It appropriates the location’s existing industrial elements to complement its other retail executions, while reconstructing complementary fittings – like wooden pallets and welded steel frames – with premium materials and detailing. These fittings are used to create flexible product displays, allowing the store to be re-configured into a number of different layouts according to the needs of each collection.
